Version 8: Ruins
Theme Song: New Kings by Sun Culture
Beginning: Following Lainee's murder, Zero rises to his rightful place as South Edge's leader. Resources are scarce and tensions are high, and the struggle to survive is as pressing and real as ever. Cracking under the many pressures, the triggering point for South Edge becomes the massive fire, set by Oliver Fray, which burns the prison to the ground. South Edge is homeless just as the volcano awakens. The Auditors have released their weapon. Another eruption rocks the land and destroys all resources, creating a barren land, impossible to survive on. South Edge, Winchester Regime, and the Bandits band together to travel to a new home, although it is at the cost of many lives on this trail of tears. The Auditors are dispersed after the failed outcome of their eruption, and they follow the groups only to become captives, slaves, and some of the lucky become rogues. Zayn Cassel, heir to the Bandit throne, is grappling with his identity and is being punished for his lack of interest in women by his father, Easton Cassel. Meanwhile, Zero Alvarian is searching for a Queen, and will be hosting a Bachelor's Ball where he will hopefully make his choice. Tensions are mounting between South Edge and Winchester Regime again as Caden Winchester has fallen ill, leaving his rather volatile son and heir, Khan Winchester, to run things under the supervision of Blaire Taylor. The Spades are slowly gaining traction, but remain quite anonymous to the other three groups. In the new territory, a grand Estate has been livened by the arrival of new blood. But the house is not what it seems, and a dangerous threat lurks within in the form of a brother and sister pair who think they're royalty.
Ending: After Easton Cassel went over the edge and killed Piper Carther, Zayn quickly acted and used the opportunity to execute his father and assume power. Zero has chosen Alana Boyd as his wife, but harbors deep feelings for Zayn Cassel as well. Khan Winchester has made powerful enemies after blinding Bradley Jensen when he caught his girlfriend cheating on him with the Gladiator. Bradley Jenesen and Riley Jensen have struck and alliance with Zayn Cassel, and will execute a coup on Winchester Regime once Bradley is fully healed, leading to the death of Caden and Blaire and the exile of Khan Winchester, who will take refuge with the Spades. Eventually, Khan will come to power in the Spades, and make it his lifelong mission to retrieve the throne stolen from him.

Version 7: Devour
Theme Song: Everybody Wants to Rule the World by Lorde
Beginning: A new group, the Auditors has just emerged from hiding. They come to visit each of the existing groups, telling them of their plans to bring back the United States and requesting that they join together to become stronger. Some rogues may be recruited as well. Each of the leaders are allowed to choose their own reactions to the Auditors--make go however you want. Over time, tensions will grow between the Auditors and the other groups, as well as among the other groups themselves, and a sudden reduction in available resources won't help the matter.
Ending: The Auditors have been working on something for a while, and the issues with the groups provide the perfect time to release: another eruption. Why? To try and force the groups to come to them, because they have enough supplies saved up and otherwise, the other groups will die. Following Lainee's attempted coup to take over Winchester Regime as a dictator, Blaire and Caden help Zero muzzle her and send one of their own, Riley Jensen, to be Zero's personal guard and Lainee's handler. Her job is to get young Zero to the age of 18, where he can assume the throne and hopefully usher in trust and peace between the groups once more.

Version 6: The Beasts and the Heartless
Theme Song: Edge of the Earth by 30 Seconds to Mars
Beginning: Logan Alvarian has taken over South Edge and has sent Caden Winchester and Blaire Taylor to take over Winchester Regime. While Winchester Regime is its own functioning group, Caden and Blaire do answer to Logan, so WR is sort of a branch of SE. Both groups are now facing oppression under their cruel leaders.
Ending: Eventually, Logan and Caden and Blaire decide to merge their groups into one empire to gain more control over the land, setting their future sights on the Bandits as well to further expand their reign. After the two groups become one, the area's resources begin to dwindle. The food, water and other supplies run so dry that SE and WR decide it would be best to move. Before they can move, a new force has entered their world, and Logan's pact with Caden and Blaire becomes shaky when he dies unexpectedly, leaving his unpredictable wife in charge...

Version 5: Winds of Change
Theme Song: Supremacy by Muse
Beginning: In order to gain the trust of his new subjects, particularly the powerful Taylor family, Chase Fulton starts a war against the Bandits in order to please the rioting people of South Edge when one of theirs is murdered by the rival group. But the war is fake, and Chase actually makes a deal with Jace Carther for them both to benefit from this "war". South Edge thinks that their ruler is siding with them and giving them what they want, but what Chase is really doing is sending all of the people disloyal to him in SE to their deaths in the war...and as for the rest he orders Jace to capture and torture them, so that Chase could come in and save them and look like the hero. After the war Chase also completely transforms the structure of SE, turning it into a monarchy. And thus, his reign of tyranny begins. At the same time, Logan Alvarian hatches a plot to overthrow Chase.
End: The people find Chase's oppressive rule to be too much, and it isn't long before they beg Logan Alvarian to take over instead. Logan takes control of the group after Evaline Bob, Chase's fiance, poisons herself and he commits suicide. Everyone is happy that Logan is leader at first, until it is revealed that this was his plan all along, and he becomes even worse than Chase. At the same time, Caden Winchester and Blaire Taylor imprison Fawn Opaque and take over WR and start to restore the order that Derek had back in the beginning of WR. Meanwhile Jace Carther resigns from being Bandit leader, and leaves his empire to Easton Cassel.

Version 4.5: Rising Tide (continued)
Theme Song: Kings and Queens by 30 Seconds to Mars
Beginning: The survivors are now living in the "Era of Light". For a while things look good for the groups in and around the city, and everyone seems to finally be settling down. Several members even visit back and forth between the groups without much of an issue, and some inter-group relationships and friendships occur.
End: The time of peace is suddenly disrupted when Chase Fulton kills his father Malachi Fulton, and takes over South Edge, naming Logan Alvarian as his second-in-command. The Bandits lose their second-in-command Thomas Taylor and his wife when Jace is forced to kill them due to their inability to separate duty from family, and Jace's heir, Loki Carther, is banished for being "weak". Winchester Regime seems to be staying away from the trouble the other groups are facing, but tensions are high due to the shift in power in South Edge.

Version 1.0: The End
Theme Song: Grapevine Fires by DeathCab For Cutie
Beginning: It's been a few weeks since the eruption, and the dazed survivors are adjusting to their new world, fighting for survival as best as they can. The air is non-breathable- gas masks are required to go outside. Survivors are scattered mostly throughout the remains of the city.
End: A massive earthquake wreaks havoc on the city, forcing the survivors to flee for their lives. Many survivors band together during the chaos, and two groups are formed: Winchester Regime and South Edge. Unaware of each others' existence, they each build camps in an attempt to establish themselves and create a safe haven away from the city. Months after the eruption, the air is now less toxic, and can be breathed without masks.
